Re:Play Development Project
In September 2007, funding was provided by SkillsActive and Play England for development work to follow on from the In to Play project that resulted in the 2006 report, The Case for Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Play Hubs.
The successful candidate is Wendy Usher, working in partnership with Milton Keynes Play Association, whose initial work will be with community and voluntary organisations in the region.
Wendy's first task is to gather information from the region's play associations and a pilot area of parish councils, and also to start work on an independent website for Re:Play.
At the end of the consultancy period, a draft VCS Infrastructure Directory and Guide for the south east was produced, which will soon be available to access and download on this site temporarily, whilst we seek funding for a new dedicated website.
