CACHE Publish new L2 Training:
The CACHE Level 2 NVQ in Playwork was launched on 1st April 2008, and is a brand new qualification which reflects the latest National Occupational Standards, and gives the learner access to a broader selection of career options by helping them to develop skills across a variety of playwork related subjects. In Our Hands: The Learning and Skills Council have said that almost half the people in England were unaware of the return on investment that training can bring individuals, so it has launched a website to give advice on training and professional development.

QUANTA:
The Quanta project is now underway. A number of visits to training providers holding the Code of Practice will take place between now and April of next year. The role of the Quanta Visitor is to support training providers to ensure their training meets quality standards. It is planned that all training providers who hold the Code of Practice will receive a quanta visit within the next three years.
